Discription of the issues related to this individual
(1) Elizabeth Born c1818 Cassilis; died February 4, 1889. On July 28, 1836 she married George Sutherland, son of George Sutherland and Ann Stuart. They were Presbyterian and had at least ten children.
(2) Mary Born c1820; died January 6, 1884. She married Charles E. Mullin on January 21, 1843. Born c1818, Charles was a farmer/lumberman. They raised a family of nine in Cassilis. Charles died October 6, 1887. They were Presbyterian and were buried in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Red Bank
(3) John Born c1821; died c1885.
(4) Ann Born October 25, 1825; died July 28, 1910. On September 9, 1845 she married William Russell, who was born c1821 and died April 19, 1885. They had at least nine children. They were buried in St. Andrew’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Newcastle.
(5) George Born 1828; died 1861. He was a lumberman and was Presbyterian.
(6) Mahalia Jane Born c1830; died after 1871. On June 7, 1859 she married Thomas Walker, born c1834 and died after 1861. They had at least one child. He was Church of England and she was Presbyterian. They moved to Wisconsin before 1871.
(7) Abigail Born c1832 in Red Bank; died c1878 in Sunny Corner. On September 13, 1855 she married Andrew Matchett, born August 1, 1832 to William Matchett* and Mary Fraser of Sunny Corner. Abigail and Andrew raised nine children in Sunny Corner. They were Presbyterian. Abigail was buried in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Red Bank. After her death Andrew remarried.
(8) Noah Born May 12, 1834; died August 13, 1917. He married Elizabeth McTavish, daughter of John McTavish and Marian Sinclair of North Esk, c1859. Elizabeth was born February 22, 1837 and died May 15, 1919. They had four children. They were Presbyterian.
(9) Thomas Born 1838; died June 25, 1894. On June 24, 1867 he married Jane Allison, born June 14, 1848 to John Allison** and Jane Stewart of North Esk. They had at least seven children and were Presbyterian.
(10) Sarah Ann Born c1839; died c1861.
