Donat MARTIN, of Baie Ste; Anne, died Wednesday, September 10, 1986 at the Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Baie Ste. Anne46 years ago, he was a son of Marguerite [THIBODEAU] and the late David MARTIN.<br /> Besides his mother, he is survived by five brothers: Sandy, Maurice, Gerald, Reggie and Roger, all of Baie Ste. Anne; seven sisters: Mrs. David BREAU [Anna], of Newcastle, Mrs. John McLEAN [Henrietta], of Loggieville, Mrs. Arthur FLAHERTY [Rena], of Chatham, Mrs. Adelard MEUNIER [Clara] and Mrs. Eddie COMEAU [Ethel], both of St. Louis, Mrs. Real DAIGLE [Rolande], of Hardwicke, and Mrs. Loretta ROBICHAUD, of Baie Ste. Anne.<br /> The body rested at Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church where funeral mass was celebrated Saturday, September 13 with Rev. Alphonse Richard officiating.<br /> Pallbearers were: Gilles MARTIN, Ronald FLAHERTY, Jean-Marc MARTIN, Gaston MARTIN, Aurelien ROBICHAUD and Lee McLEAN.<br /> Burial was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham.<br /> Source: Northumberland News - September 17, 1986
