Claude MARTIN, 55, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, at his home in Pointe-Sapin, on Monday, May 31, 2010. Born in Chatham, he was the son of the late Louis MARTIN and of Therese MARTIN [MANUEL], of Baie-Ste.-Anne. Claude worked as a fisherman, and attended the St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-Sapin. <br /> Claude will be missed by his daughter, Solange MARTIN [Gaston DAIGLE], of Pointe-Sapin; his son, Mathieu MARTIN, of Pointe-Sapin; his mother, Therese MARTIN [late Louis]; two sisters, Norma HARRIMAN [Blake], of Miramichi, Lucia MANUEL [Pierre], of Baie-Ste-Anne; three brothers, Gerard [Andrea] MARTIN, of Richibucto, Paul MARTIN [May], of Baie-Ste-Anne, Louis MARTIN Jr. [Joanne], of Baie-Ste-Anne, and also many nieces and nephews; seven sisters-in-law: Claudia BOUDREAU [late Valmond], of Shediac, Hugette THIBODEAU [Levi], of Caraquet, Jeanne GAUDET, of Aldouane, Georgette CLEMENTS [Frankie], of Shediac, Albea DUGAS [François], of Pointe-Sapin, Denise ROBICHAUD, of Moncton, Leonne ROBICHAUD, of Shediac; four brothers-in-law: Albain ROBICHAUD [Laudia], of Dieppe, Antonie ROBICHAUD [Francine], of Irishtown, Roger ROBICHAUD [Jeanne], of Pointe-Sapin, Rejean ROBICHAUD, of St. Louis. <br /> Other than by his father, Claude is predeceased by wife, Marie Anna MARTIN; one sister-in-law, Josette; and three brothers-in-law, Donald, Eugene and Jean-Paul. <br /> Resting at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church Hall, Pointe-Sapin with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Monday from 2:00pm until the time of funeral. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 4:00 pm at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-Sapin. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Donations to the Georges-L.-Dumont Oncology Unit would be appreciated by the family.
