Bernard MARTIN, of Baie Ste. Anne, died Monday afternoon Feb. 2, 1981 at Hotel; Dieu Hospital, Chatham following a lengthy illness. Born at Baie Ste. Anne 67 years ago, he was a son of the late Alexander and Mary Jane [MAZEROLLE] MARTIN.<br /> He is survived by one son, Gerald, of Baie Ste. Anne; five brothers; Tilmon, Ambrose, Edward, and Leo, all of Fredericton, and Alexander, of Baie Ste. Anne; four sisters; Mrs. Arthur ROBICHAUD [Helen], of Baie Ste. Anne, Mrs. Anita COOK, Mrs. Jeanita HOWELL, and Mrs. Roseanna MACINTYRE, all of Fredericton.<br /> The body rested at the slumber room of the Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church. The funeral mass was celebrated by Rev. D. Gauthier on Feb 5.<br /> Honorary pallbearers: Jerome ROBICHAUD, Jimmy MARTIN, Jean Marie ROBICHAUD, Raymond MAZEROLLE, Marc MARTIN, and Elvis MARTIN. Active pallbearers were Robert ROBICHAUD, Gerald ROBICHAUD, David MACDONALD, Irenee MARTIN, Robert MARTIN and Edward MARTIN.<br /> Entombment was in Baie Ste. Anne receiving vault to await interment there in the spring.
