Armand W. MARTIN, of Baie Ste. Anne, died Wednesday, December 02, 1987 at the Moncton Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Baie Ste. Anne 60 years ago, he was a son of the late William and Barbara [MAZEROLLE] MARTIN. He was a fisherman.<br /> He is survived by his wife, the former Celine MARTIN; four sons: Gregory, Euclide, Arthur and Burton, all of Baie Ste. Anne; three daughters, Mrs. Francis ROBICHAUD [Angela], of Pointe Sapin, and Mrs. Richard GILBERT [Rachel] and Miss Gisele MARTIN, both of Baie Ste. Anne; eight brothers: Ferdinand, Patrick, Leonard, Aurele, Theodore and Isidore, all of Baie Ste. Anne, Albain, of Fredericton, and Felicien, of Napan; two sisters, Mrs. Howard LEWIS, of Gagetown, and Mrs. Terry LARMONT, of Ontario; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.<br /> The body rested at Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church where funeral mass was celebrated Saturday morning, December 5th with Rev. Alphonse Richard officiating.<br /> The honorary pallbearers were: Ferdinand, Aurele, Patrick, Theodule, Leonard and Albain MARTIN. Active pallbearers were: Bernard McINTYRE, Francis ROBICHAUD, Richard GILBERT, Ulysse MAZEROLLE, Brian and Emilien MARTIN.<br /> Burial was in the parish cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Mahers funeral Home, Chatham.<br /> Source: Northumberland News - December 09, 1987]
