Armand W. MARTIN, of Baie Ste. Anne, died Wednesday, December 02, 1987 at the Moncton Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Baie Ste. Anne 60 years ago, he was a son of the late William and Barbara [MAZEROLLE] MARTIN. He was a fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, the former Celine MARTIN; four sons: Gregory, Euclide, Arthur and Burton, all of Baie Ste. Anne; three daughters, Mrs. Francis ROBICHAUD [Angela], of Pointe Sapin, and Mrs. Richard GILBERT [Rachel] and Miss Gisele MARTIN, both of Baie Ste. Anne; eight brothers: Ferdinand, Patrick, Leonard, Aurele, Theodore and Isidore, all of Baie Ste. Anne, Albain, of Fredericton, and Felicien, of Napan; two sisters, Mrs. Howard LEWIS, of Gagetown, and Mrs. Terry LARMONT, of Ontario; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The body rested at Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church where funeral mass was celebrated Saturday morning, December 5th with Rev. Alphonse Richard officiating.
The honorary pallbearers were: Ferdinand, Aurele, Patrick, Theodule, Leonard and Albain MARTIN. Active pallbearers were: Bernard McINTYRE, Francis ROBICHAUD, Richard GILBERT, Ulysse MAZEROLLE, Brian and Emilien MARTIN.
Burial was in the parish cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Mahers funeral Home, Chatham.
