Albain MARTIN, of Baie Ste. Anne, died on arrival Sunday, June 1, 1986 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham. Born in Baie Ste. Anne 73 years ago, he was a son of the late Andre and Pauline [SAVOIE] MARTIN.
He is survived by his wife, the former Martha Elise MARTIN; three sons, Gervais, Elderic and Antonio, all of Baie Ste. Anne; three daughters, Mrs. Clifford THERIAULT [Noella] and Mrs. Normand BOUCHARD [Irma], both of Toronto, and Mrs. Alvin DAIGLE [Antoinette], of Baie Ste. Anne; a brother, Lionel, of Loggieville; five sisters: Mrs. Clement SAVOY [Dorella], of Neguac, Mrs. Deomine DESPRES, Mrs. Roy MARTIN [Elise], Mrs. Carmella TURBIDE and Mrs. Ida DURELLE, all of Baie Ste. Anne; 11 grandchildren.
The body rested at Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church where funeral mass will be celebrated today [Wednesday] at 4 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham.

FUNERAL/CORRECTION -
Funeral mass for Albain MARTIN, of Baie Ste. Anne, was celebrated on Wednesday, June 4th at the Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Alphonse Richard officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were: Clement SAVOIE, Harold DURELLE, Fernand GALLANT, Antonio TURBIDE, Roy and Ovila MARTIN. Active pallbearers were: Normand BOUCHARD, Alvin DAIGLE, Frank DESPRES, Real SAVOIE, Sylvio and Norbert MARTIN.
Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham.
A half-sister, Mrs. Henri HICKS [Marceline], of Toronto, was omitted among the survivors in last weeks paper.
