Mrs. Virginia [Lavine] MANUEl, of Baie Ste. Anne, passed away on Saturday, April<br /> 19, 2008, at the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home at the age of 94. Born in Baie St. Anne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Victoire [MAZEROLLE] MANUEL.<br /> She is survived by daughters: Eleza MARTIN [Clement], of Beresford, Bernadette<br /> BREAU [Jean-Paul], of Neguac, Zelma MARTIN [Marc], of Baie Ste Anne; sons: Meldric<br /> [Normande], Adrien [Patricia], Ulysse and Gerald, all of Baie Ste Anne, NB; also<br /> had grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and a brother, Ovila MARTIN, of Grand Falls. <br /> She is predeceased by her husband, James MANUEL; and two sons, Romuald and Emile; a sister, Marthe Elise; and four brothers: Roy, Romeo, Leonard and Emile.<br /> Mrs. Virginia MANUEL rested at the Baie Ste. Anne Slumberoom on Monday, April 21st from 7-9 and on Tuesday, April 22nd from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, April 23rd at 11 a.m. from St. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste. Anne with Fr. Robert Savoie officiating. <br /> Active pallbearers were: Marty MANUEL, Luc MARTIN, Stephen MARTIN, Simeon MARTIN, Darren MATCHETT and Richard THERIAULT. Honorary pallbearers were: Louise BRANSFIELD, Cora MARTIN, Theresa MARTIN, Simonne MAZEROLLE, Eugenie McINTYRE, Nicole SAVOIE, Noella THERIAULT and Blondine WILLISTON.<br /> Interment will be in St. Anne Cemetery in the spring.
