The death of [Moe] Maurice MANUEL, husband of Toby [RUSSELL] MANUEL, of Strathadam, NB, occurred on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at his late residence at the age of 52. Born in Chatham, NB, he was the son of Lawrence and Edwina [HEBERT] MANUEL. Moe was the owner/operator of Chatham Tire Ltd.
Besides his wife, Toby, Moe is survived by his children: Hillary and Ryan, both at home; two sisters, Gilberte MAILLET [Jean-Guy], of Moncton, NB, Dine COLLETTE [Andre], of Bouctouche, NB; five brothers: Denis [Aurella], of Moncton, NB, Jacques, of Baie Ste. Anne, NB, Alderice, of Sainte Anne, NB, Willie [Laline], Jean-Marie [Michelle], all of Baie Ste. Anne, NB; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Bells Funeral Home on Monday from 4 to 6 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service was held from the the FH Chapel on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Blair Whyte officiating. Organist/soloist was Jacqueline Allain. Solos were: Never Gone, Go Rest High On The Mountain, Keep Me In Your Heart For Awhile and Im Going Home. Eulogy was given by Mario MANUEL [nephew].
Active pallbearers were: Kevin SARGENT, Paul DAVIDSON, Marcel RICHARD, Ryan MANUEL, Glenn SCOTT and Chris RUSSELL.
Burial followed in St. Philips United Church Cemetery, Whitney. Donations may be made to the St. Philips United Church Cemetery or the New Brunswick Extra Mural Program. Funeral arrangements were under the care of Bells Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB. Telephone: [506] 622-3600.
