Mr. Julien MANUEL, of Baie Ste Anne, passed away on Sunday, November 4, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 61. He was born in Baie Ste Anne, the son of Anthime MANUEL and Viola JENKINS. He was a member of St. Anne Parish in Baie Ste. Anne, and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 73.
He is survived by his wife, Elzea [SAVOIE] MANUEL; daughter, Ginette [Gab] MANUEL DURELLE, of Baie Ste Anne; sons: Bruno, of Baie Ste Anne, Gilles, of Dieppe; brothers: Robert [Gilberte], of Pointe Sapin, Guy [Jacinthe], Francois, all of Baie Ste Anne; sisters: Denise [Manley] McLEAN, of Napan, Gisele [Scott] DOUGLAS, of Guelph, ON, Donalda [Romeo] THERIAULT, of Miramichi, Astrid [Lucien] THIBODEAU, of Baie Ste Anne, Sharon [Francis] MARTIN, of Baie Ste Anne; grandson, Mikael; granddaughter, Chanel; mother-in-law, Jeanne [THERIAULT] SAVOIE; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the Baie Ste Anne Slumberoom in Baie Ste Anne on Monday evening November 5 from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday November 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday November 7 at 4 p.m. from St. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste Anne with Fr. Robert Savoie Celebrant and Fr. Fidele LeBlanc Con-Celebrant.
Active pallbearers were; Carl BRENNAN, Fabien MARTIN, Michael SAVOIE, Antoine MARTIN, Donald DURELLE and Fred SAVOIE. Honorary pallbearers were the members of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 73.
Interment will be in the church cemetery. Donations to the Church Renovation Fund would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Miramichi, NB. Telephone 773-4321.
