Joseph Harold MANUEL, 83, of Hardwicke, NB, husband of the late Emelia MAZEROLLE, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, November 07, 2012 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Born in Portage River, the son of the late Allison and Edith [MARTIN] MANUEL. Harold was a retired fisherman. In his early years, he attended and worked at the Hardwicke Roman Catholic Church. <br /> He is survived by his children: Steve MANUEL [Carol], of Oshawa, Ont., Daryl MANUEL [Mirelle], of St. Simon, NB, Jo-Anne KELLY, of Kitchener, Ont., Michael MANUEL, of Hardwicke; grandchildren: Dominique, Patrice and Jessy; Robert, Chris and Jeffrey; Julie, Thomas, Alyson, Jennifer and Jason. Also survived by his step-children, Gloria, Ronald, Celine; and step-grandchildren. <br /> He is predeceased by daughter, Suzanne; and son, Danny; step-daughter, Diane. <br /> Harold MANUEL rested at Mahers Funeral Home, Miramichi, NB on Friday, November 09, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service was held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11 AM from the FH Chapel with Fr. Dan Bastarache officiating. Donations to the New Brunswick Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
