Mrs. Cornelia MANUEL, 95, of Baie Ste-Anne, passed awau Tuesday, June 6, 19965, at La Villa Maria Home, St-Louis-de-Kent. Born in Baie Ste-Anne, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Julie TURBIDE. She was a homemaker, and attended Baie Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church. <br /> She is survived by six sons: Prosper, Aurele, Maxime, Cyrille, Yvon and Eric, all of Baie Ste-Anne; four daughters: Mrs. Emile DAIGLE [Elodie], Mrs. Ambrose MANUEL [Clementine], Mrs. Arthur THERIAULT [Rita], Mrs. Cyril JENKINS [Zelia], all of Baie Ste-Anne; one sister, Mrs. Isaac THERIAULT [Neomise], of Baie Ste-Anne; 74 grandchildren; 104 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.<br /> She is predeceased by her husband, Pierre MANUEL.<br /> The remains rested at the church slumber room. Mass of Christian burial was held in Baie Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church, June 8, 1995, at 4 p.m. with Rev. Robert Savoie officiating.<br /> Active pallbearers were: Prosper, Aurel, Maxime, Eric, Cyrille, and Yvon MANUEL. Honorary pallbearers were: Jean, Elmo, Gaetan, Frances, Pierre, Colleen, Paula, Adelma, Christianne MANUEL, Rodregue DAIGLE, Pierre THERIAULT, Jean Marc MANUEL, Ivan JENKINS, Cecilia BABINEAU, Carmeline LLOYD, Gaetanne GAUDET, Geralda RICHARD, Jacinthe POIRIER, Rosa GAUDET, and Charline GODIN. <br /> Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were under the care of Mahers Funeral Home. <br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - June 13, 1995
