The death of Mrs. Henriette ALLAIN, widow of Joseph ALLAIN, of St. Louis and formerly of St. Charles, occurred at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton on Thursday, March 23. Born in Buctouche 97 years ago, she was a daughter of the late Johnny and Henriette (ALLAIN) CAISSIE. <br /> <br /> Her husband died in 1946.<br /> <br /> She is survived by six daughters: Mrs. Joseph CHEVARIE (Alice), of Blacks Harbor, Mrs. Adolphe COMEAU (Pauline), of Madison, Me., Mrs. Marcil BABINEAU (Alma) and Miss Lauraine ALLAIN, both of St. Louis, Mrs. Narcisse JOHNSON (Yvonnisse), of St. Ignace, and Herculine ALLAIN, of Richibucto; five sons: Levi, of Chaplin Island Road, Alyre, of Toronto and Newcastle, Edgar, of Newcastle, Antoine, of St. Charles, and Joachim, of St. Ignace.<br /> <br /> The body rested at the St. Charles Parish Hall. The funeral mass was celebrated Sunday afternoon, March 26 at St. Charles Church with entombment in the St. Ignace cemetery vault to await burial later in the spring.<br /> <br /> Source: North Shore Leader - March 30, 1972
