Mrs. Ada Madeline MacDONALD, widow of the late George MacDONALD, of Little Branch Road, Black River Bridge, passed away at Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Sunday, January 9, 2005, at the age of 77. Born in Napan Bay, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Roberta [MacINNIS] TAYLOR. She was a homemaker and attended St. Stephens United Church, Black River Bridge.
She is survived by two daughters: Irene WATLING, of Brampton, ON, Ida STOREY [Merle], of McGivney; four sons: Robert MacDONALD [Alice], Edward MacDONALD [Carmel], Ernest MacDONALD and Anerd MacDONALD [Debbie], all of Black River Bridge; two sisters: Lyla ROACH, of Moncton, and Rhoda TURBIDE [Wilfred], of Sept Isles, PQ; two brothers: Alvin TAYLOR, of Napan Bay and Leo TAYLOR, of Sept Isles, PQ; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband in 1983; three sisters: Annie WILLISTON, Lorna WILLISTON and Jean RYAN; 5 brothers: Ronald, Mel, Bud, Linwood and Earl TAYLOR.
Visitation held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, Miramichi, on Monday from 7-9 pm and Tues. from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service held from St. Stephens United Church, on Wed., Jan. 12, 2005, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. David Cleveland. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery.
