The death of Miss Ada E. LUKE, RN, of Howard Street, Chatham occurred at Hotel Dieu here on Friday following a lengthy illness. Born in Chatham 87 years ago, she was a daughter of the late William and Grace [MacKENZIE] LUKE. She received her nursing training and worked for a number of years in the United States prior to returning to Chatham. She attended St. Andrews United Church. She was the last surviving member of her family.<br /> The body rested at Adams Funeral Home where the funeral service was held on Sunday afternoon. Entombment was in the Riverside Cemetery vault to await burial in the spring.<br /> Source: North Shore Leader - January 27, 1972
