The late Mrs. Ada Mary BEAULIEU, 87, of Bellefond, occurred Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1993, at Region 7 hospital, Newcastle facility, following a brief illness. Born in Neguac, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Celeste [BREAU] SAVOY and had attended the Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Beaverbrook. A retired homemaker, she and her husband had just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Monday.
She is survived by her husband, Edmond; and three daughters, Theresa, of Chatham Head, Odette, of Newcastle, and Mrs. Jean-Paul McGRAW [Dolia], of Montreal; a son, Ronald, of Anover, Ont.; also by two sisters, Mrs. Albert ST. COEUR [Susan], of Neguac, and Margaret SAVOY, of Saint John; one brother, Leandre, of Neguac; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The body rested at Adams Funeral Home, Newcastle. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, Dec. 3, 1993, at 10:30 a.m., at the Assention Roman Catholic Church, Beaverbrook, with father Alfred Landry officiating. Church organist was Stephen Hache, assisted by the church choir with the special music.
Pallbearers were: Robert BEAULIEU, Aubrey HARE, Albert LeBRETON, Kevin LeBRETON, Cyril BEAULIEU and Levi BEAULIEAU.
Burial followed in the church cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Adams Funeral Home, Newcastle.
