William E. KENNEDY, 83, of Glenwood, died Wednesday night, Dec. 31 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham, after a lengthy illness. Born in Chatham, he was the son of the late John and Annie [CARTER] KENNEDY.<br /> He is survived by his wife, the former Isabelle CONROY; a son, William KENNEDY, of Glenwood; four daughters: Mrs. John BELL [Katherine], of Chatham, Miss. Patricia KENNEDY, of Glenwood, Mrs. Jeff DeWOLFE [Anne], of Nordin, and Mrs. Ken ROBERTS [Carmel], of Brandon, MB; a sister, Mrs. Margaret VICKERS, of Newcastle; a brother, Thomas KENNEDY, of Saint John; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.<br /> The body rested at the new Mahers Funeral Home, 35 University Avenue, Chatham. Mass was celebrated at 10 am Saturday, Jan 3 from St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, Chatham. Entombment in the church vault to await burial in the spring.<br /> Source: Miramichi Weekend - January 9, 1981
