Mrs. Winnifred D. JARDINE, of 3701 Route 108, Quarryville, N.B., passed away Wednesday, March 17, 1999 at her residence. Born in Atholville, N.B., she was the daughter of the late William and Agnes (CLARK) BUTLER. She was a homemaker, and a member of St. Marks United Church, Quarryville, N.B.<br /> <br /> She is survived by six daughters: Blanche SUTHERLAND, Lois HACHEY (Eugene), of Hamilton, N.B., Joyce JARDINE (Nelson), of Upper Derby, N.B., Lillian DONOVAN (Wallace), Bernice MOODY (Rodney), of Blackville, N.B., Kim DONOVAN (Duane), of Renous, N.B.; sons, Willard (Shirley), at home, Robert (Donna), of Renous, N.B.; sister, Mrs. Marjorie UPTON, of Fredericton, N.B.; 29 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.<br /> <br /> The remains rested at her late residence in Quarryville, N.B. The funeral service was held Sunday, March 21, at 2 p.m. from St. Marks United Church, Quarryville, N.B., with Rev. Don Britt officiating.<br /> <br /> Active pallbearers were: Kevin STURGEON, Eddie HAMILTON, Rodney JARDINE, Franklin JARDINE, Ronnie HALLIHAN and Nelson JARDINE. Honorary pallbearers were: Yvonne JARDINE, Nan PLEADWELL, Helen STURGEON, Vivian STURGEON, Irma JARDINE and Bessie DAVIDSON.<br /> <br /> Burial will follow in the church cemetery later in the spring. At the request of the family, donations to the I. W. K. Hospital would be appreciated. Davidsons Funeral Service Ltd. was in care of arrangements. Family owned - family operated.<br /> <br /> : Miramichi Leader - March 23, 1999
