William E. JARDINE, 81, of Loggieville, died Monday, Jan. 13, 1992, at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham, after a short illness. Born in Kouchibouguac, he was a son of the late James and Janet [CLARK] JARDINE. He had been a sales representative for the G. E. Barbour Co. He had also been an employee of the W. S. Loggie Company, the A. and R. Loggie Company, Diamond Construction and the Miner Rubber Company. He was a member of St. James United Church, Kouchibouguac; a member of St. Andrews Lodge No. 16, F & AM, Rexton; a member of Ivanhoe Preceptory No. 36, Moncton. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.<br /> He is survived by his wife, the former Gertrude MacNAUGHTON; two sons: Eldon, of Ottawa, and Duncan, of Toronto; five grand-children; a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.<br /> He was predeceased by a sister, Roberta; two brothers, Clarke and Muir.<br /> The body rested at Adams Funeral Home, Chatham, where funeral service was held Thurs-day, Jan.16. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Loggieville, in the spring.<br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - January 22, 1992
