The death of Addington D. JARDINE, of Quarryville, occurred Saturday night at Miramichi Hospital, Newcastle, after a lengthy illness. He was 60. Born in Quarryville, he was a son of the late Addington and Margaret [HARRIS] JARDINE. He was employed with the Renous Ammunition Depot until its closure.<br /> His wife, the former Doris McGARVIE, died several years ago.<br /> He is survived by four sons: Robert, of Renous, James, Addington Jr., Keith, all of Quarryville; 2 daughters: Mrs. Ronald HALLIHAN [Susan], of Upper Derby, and Margret, of Doaktown; two brothers: Willard and Gordon, both of Quarryville; five sisters: Mrs. Ada McKEIL, Mrs. Eunice McINTYRE, Mrs. Dorothy CLARK, Mrs. Bliss BEERS [Louise], Mrs. Leslie STURGEON [Lorna], Mrs. Theodore HOWE [Edith].<br /> The body is resting at the home of his daughter, Mrs. HALLIHAN, Upper Derby. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from St. Marks United Church, Quarryville.
