The death of Nancy Jane HILL, widow of Stanley HILL, of Newcastle, occurred at Miramichi Hospital Monday, May 1. Born at Whitney, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Nancy [MULLIN] SHERRARD.<br /> Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Fred MacTAVISH [Dorothy], of Carleton Place, Ontario, Mrs. Harold SMITH [Elsie], of Edmundston, and Mrs. Wylie RUSSELL [Audrey], of Berwick, N.S.; two sons: Delbert, of Toronto, and Edward, of Newcastle; four sisters: Mrs. Charles RANDALL [Evelyn], of Halifax, Mrs. Benson FORSYTHE [Roberta] and Mrs. Hiram ALLISON [Rachel], both of Boom Road, and Mrs. Walter GRAHAM [Annie], of Williamstown; one brother, Murray, of Hull, Quebec; and eight grandchildren.<br /> The body rested at Bells Funeral Home with service held there Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Elton C. Smith, assisted by Rev. D. F. Hoddinott.<br /> Pallbearers were: Hiram ALLISON, Benson FORSYTHE, Berval FORSYTHE, Clayton ALLISON, Don LEACH, and Douglas MacLEAN. <br /> Entombment was in Miramichi Cemetery vault for burial later in the spring. <br /> Among those attending from a distance were: Mrs. Thomas Sherrard, Mrs. William Alfred and Clayton Allison, all of Tide Head.<br /> Source: North Shore Leader - May 11, 1972
