Adolphus HEBERT, of 4 Glendale Ave., Chatham, died Saturday afternoon, December 8, 1984 at Hotel Dieu Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Chatham 66 years ago, he was a son of the late Napoleon and Florence [ROY] HEBERT. <br /> He is survived by his wife, the former Melinda BRIDEAU; seven sons: Gerard and Robert, both of Hamilton, ON, Adolphe, of Winnipeg, Eric, Michael, Regan and Darryl, all of Chatham; three daughters, Florence HEBERT, of Chatham, Lenora HEBERT, of Loggieville, and Mrs. Arthur GIROUARD [Andrea], of Chatham Head; five brothers: Gordon and Walter, both of Chatham, Charlie and William, both of Saint John, and Harold, of Mississauga, ON; three sisters, Mrs. Edward GRANT [Mabel], Mrs. Edith CRIPPS and Mrs. Jerry HANLEY [Della], all of Saint John: five grandchildren.<br /> The body rested at Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham. Funeral mass was celebrated Tuesday morning, December 11 at St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church. Entombment was in St. Michaels vault, with burial in the spring. Arrangements were in the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham.<br /> Source: Northumberland News - December 12, 1984 <br /> ************************************************************************ <br /> FUNERAL - <br /> Funeral mass for the late Adolphus HEBERT, of Glendale Ave., Chatham, was concelebrated Tuesday morning, Dec. 11 at St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church by Rev. P. Bagley and Rev. J. Grattan.<br /> Pallbearers were six of the sons of the deceased.<br /> Entombment followed in St. Michaels cemetery vault to await burial in the cemetery in the spring.
