The death of Wilson M. HARPER, of 644 Elmwood Drive, Moncton, occurred Thursday, July 25 at the age of 41. Born in Derby, he was the son of Cecil and Audrey [MANDERVILLE] HARPER. Mr. HARPER was the regional fleet supervisor for the CNR and was employed with them for 22 years. He was a member of Tweedie Lodge of the Masonic Order and Order of Foresters and attended the St. Georges Anglican Church. Mr. HARPER served with the Canadian Army for three years in the early 1950s.<br /> Survivors include his wife, the former Anita WALLS, of Blackville; his parents; four sons: Rick, Bruce, Erin and Colin, all at home; two sisters, Mrs. George HUBBARD [Marie], of Newcastle, and Mrs. Rupert S. SYPHER [Audrey], of Chatham; one brother, Miller, of Newcastle.<br /> The body rested at Tuttle Brothers slumber room in Moncton and the funeral service was held on Sat. afternoon at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel. Interment was in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.<br /> Attending the funeral from the Miramichi were: Mr. and Mrs. Cecil HaRPER, Mr. and Mrs. Miller HARPER, Mr. and Mrs. George HUBBARD and Mrs. Rupert SYPHER, Mr. and Mrs. William HARPER, Kenneth HARPER, Mrs. Blair HARPER, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond CURTIS, Derby; Mrs. Freeman WALLS, Blackville; Mrs. Lila LIBBEY, Fredericton; Mr. and Mrs. W.J. VICKERS, Newcastle, Ted WALLS of Toronto, a brother of Mrs. HARPER, and a sister, also of Toronto, came to Moncton by plane for the funeral.<br /> Source: North Shore Leader - August 1, 1968
