ONE IN CRITICAL CONDITION
A single car crash at 11:45 Monday evening resulted in four people being sent to the hospital. Twenty-one-year-old Adam HAMILTON, of Lakeside Dr., Chatham, is in the Intensive Care Unit, Moncton, suffering severe head injuries. His condition was described as, critical, unconsious, and no change since his admittance.
Sue RICHARDSON, 19, of Chatham, is also in Moncton Hospital with compound fractures. In Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham, is Donna ESTEY, 17, of Douglasfield, and Olan ADAM, 18, of Loggieville.
Prior to the accident, Chatham town pollice were pursuing the vehicle. However, they gave up pursuit at the Chatham town limits.
A spokesman for the Newcastle detachment of the RCMP stated that the car driven by HAMILTON failed to negotiate a curve along highway 117 and crashed. The vehicle was completely demolished.

INQUEST RULED OUT - Northumberland County Coroner, Thomas Gallivan, ruled Tuesday that no inquest will be held into the death of Adam HAMILTON, 21, of the Loggieville Road, who died Monday in a Moncton hospital following a July 2 car accident. Gallivan also decided Tuesday no autopsy will be performed.
The victim was the driver of a car that went out of control on a curve at the Loggieville Road.
