Hon. Peter AITKEN, 35, younger son of Lord BEAVERBROOK, died suddenly at Stockholm, Sweden, after struggling in the water for two hours after his yacht ran onto rocks. <br /> <br /> His second wife (Patricia MAGUIRE of Melbourne, Australia) survives; a sister and brother: Janet and Max. <br /> <br /> His first wife was Janet MacNEILL of Halifax, whom he married in 1934, and a daughter Anne survives. The marriage was dissolved in 1938. <br /> <br /> He spent a summer in Newcastle about 25 years ago with his grandmother, Mrs. William AITKEN.<br /> <br /> Source: North Shore Leader - August 10, 1972 (25 years ago-1947)
