PETITCODIAC WOMAN KILLED IN CRASH
A Petitcodiac woman was killed in a car crash Thursday night. Caledonia RCMP Const. Donnie Robertson says the incident occurred just after 9:30 p.m. on Havelock Road in Petitcodiac. There were slippery roads and a vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree, he says.
An 18-year-old woman died at the scene as a result of injuries she sustained in the crash. he womans name has not been released.
Robertson says the investigation is continuing, but police dont believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Abigail Raven GRAY, 18, of Intervale, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011 in Petitcodiac by accident. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Gerry and Judith [BLACKMORE] GRAY. A graduate of J.M.A. Armstrong High School, Class of 2011, she was employed with Tim Hortons in Salisbury. Abigail was interested in photography and was passionately involved with TADD [Teens Against Drunk Drivers]. Family was most important to Abigail and she was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and cousin.
Survived and missed by her parents, Gerry and Judith, of Petitcodiac; brothers, Zane, of Halifax, MacKenzie, at home; paternal grandmother, Kay GRAY [late Patrick], of Rexton; maternal grandmother, Leah BLACKMORE [late Jed Jr.], of Bathurst; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road [372-4800] with visiting Monday 7 to 9 p.m. A Celebration of Abigails life will be Tuesday, December 27 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel. Memorials in her memory to TADD would be appreciated by the family. www.keirsteads.ca
