Mr. Yvan Gerald GAUVIN, of Reed Deer, Alberta, passed away Friday March 20, 2009 at his late residence at the age of 40. Born in Ville Marie, PQ, he was the son of Lionel and Anna [MALLET] GAUVIN. He was a member of the Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Beaverbrook NB.<br /> Besides his parents, he is survived by one sister, Joanne GAUVIN GIROUARD [Noel], of St. Paul; two brothers, Claude GAUVIN [Angella], of Beaverbrook, Marc GAUVIN [Christine], of Moncton. <br /> The family received relatives and friends at Davidsons Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Memorial Mass was celebrated on Saturday March 28, 2009, at 11 a.m. from the Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Beaverbrook, with Father Stanislas Paulin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date. Donations to Ascension Roman Catholic Church would be appreciated.
