Mrs. Yvonne GALLANT, widow of Adorice GALLANT, of Rogersville, died Friday, December 23, 1983 at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a brief illness. Born in Prince Edward Island 88 years ago, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Monique [BERNARD] PERRY. She attended St. Francois de Sales Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the Rogersville Golden Age Club.<br /> <br /> She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edward GAUDET [Albertine], of Rogersville, and Mrs. Joseph CHIASSON [Ernestine], of Moncton; three sons: Ernest and Gerard, both of Rogersville, and Joseph, of Campbellton; 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.<br /> <br /> Funeral Mass was concelebrated Monday, December 26, at St. Francois de Sales Church by Rev. C. G. Melanson and Rev. Arthur Richard.<br /> <br /> Pallbearers were: Adrien RICHARD, Gilles RICHARD, Donald RICHARD, Paul CHIASSON, Andre CHIASSON and Terry GALLANT.<br /> <br /> Entombment was in the parish vault for later burial in the parish cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Adams Funeral Home, Newcastle.<br /> <br /> Source: Northumberland News - January 04, 1984
