The death of Mr. Peter AHARAN, deeply respected resident of this town, occurred on Sunday afternoon at 4 oclock at the home of his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. H.A. TAYLOR, with whom he and Mrs. AHARAN have lived for some years. Mr. AHARAN was born in Douglastown 78 years ago. He was the oldest member of the local Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Louise (PRICE) AHARAN; three sons, Charles, of Charlottetown, P.E.I., and James and Elmer, both of Hyanisport, Mass.; and two daughters, Mrs. Frank HARDY (Annie), of Lowell, Mass., and Mrs. H.A. TAYLOR (Nellie).
The funeral was held this afternoon. Service at the house will be conducted by Rev. A.E. Wry at 2:30 and the cortege will leave he residence at 3:00. Interment will be the Miramichi Cemetery.
