Shirley M. [THOMSON] FISHER, 76, died Thurs., [July 20, 2003]. She was born in Athol, Mass., May 24, 1930, a daughter of Walter and Blanche [SINCLAIR] THOMSON, one of seven children. Shirley and her husband enjoyed traveling and had visited every state except Hawaii and all the six provinces of Canada except two. For the past 56 years they enjoyed going back to Newcastle, New Brunswick where they had spent their honeymoon. They were patrons of the 50 year Folk Festival in New Castle.<br /> She leaves her husband of 56 years, Erwin C. FISHER; three sons: James, Carl and David FISHER; a daughter, Constance; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; two brothers: Allison and Walter THOMSON.<br /> A memorial service was held Sunday, July 23rd. Donations to: Kingdom Hall, building fund, 185 Daniel Shays Highway, Orange, MA 01364.
