Genevieve [DAMOUR] ARSENEAULT, of Baie Ste-Anne, passed away at Villa Maria in St-Louis, Friday, Jan. 2, 1998 at the age of 97. Wife of the late Jean RICHARD [first wedding] and the late Abdon ARSENEAULT [second wedding], she was born in Iles-de-la-Madeleine, PQ. She was the daughter of the late Louis DAMOUR and the late Marie CHAISSON. <br /> She leaves behind a son, Eugene [Estelle] RICHARD, of Baie Ste-Anne; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Irma [Ned] BOURGEOIS, of Jonquiere, Quebec. <br /> She was predeceased by five brothers: Albert, Antoine, Ernest, Adeoda and Louis. The remains rested at the Baie Ste-Anne Slumber Room. Funeral mass was held in Baie Ste-Anne Mon., Jan. 3 at 3 pm, celebrated by Rev. Robert Savoie. <br /> Pallbearers were: Albert McINTYRE, Wilmont TURBIDE, Omar ARSENEAULT, Aurel CHAISSON, Jean-Marc SCHOFIELD, and Rheal POIRIER.<br /> Source: local newspaper clipping [courtesy the collection of Avadne Connolly]
