Mr. Fernand DURELLE, of Hardwick, NB, passed away on Tuesday August 15th at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 58. Born in Baie Ste Anne, the son of the late Placide and Melinda [ROBICHAUD] DURELLE. <br /> He is survived by his wife, Connie GULLIVER; sons, Matthew and Michael; sisters: Beatrice SAVOIE [Wayne], of Baie Ste Anne, Anne-Marie SAVOIE [Oswald], of Baie Ste Anne, Rejeanne GULLIVER [David], of Gardiner Point, Roseline MARTIN [Mike], of Plaster Rock; brothers: Rene [Peggy], of Hardwicke, Rosaire [Evelyn], of Gardiner Point, Perry [Debbie], of Escuminac, Jean-Paul [Lisette], of Baie Ste Anne, and Denis [Senga], of Ontario; several nieces and nephews. <br /> He is predeceased by a sister, Merita DURELLE.<br /> Resting at the Baie Ste Anne Slumberoom on Friday August 17th from 7-9 and on Saturday August 18th from 9am till time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 18th at 11am from St. Anne Church in Baie Ste Anne with Fr. Fidele LeBlanc Celebrant.<br /> Active pallbearers were: Jean-Paul DURELLE, Perry DURELLE, Rosaire DURELLE, George GULLIVER, Anthony GULLIVER and Eric MARTIN. Honorary pallbearers were: Eloie DURELLE, Placide SAVOIE, David GULLIVER, Keith GULLIVER, Bruce DURELLE, Wayne LLOYD, Allan KINGSTON, Daryl SAVOIE, Albert MARTIN and Oswald SAVOIE. <br /> Interment will be in the church cemetery. Donations to the New Brunswick Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Mahers Funeral Home Miramichi, NB.
