On November 6, 2010, Marie DUPLESSIS passed away at the age of 101 at Mount St-Joseph Nursing Home in Miramichi. <br /> Predeceased by her late husband, Octave DUPLESSIS; and her parents, Auguste THEBEAULT and Julie RICHARD, she will be missed by her five daughters: Zelia McINTYRE [late James], Carmel SAVOIE [late Adolphe], Aline MANUEL [Therence], Patricia MANUEL [Edmond], Rita SCHOFIELD [Laureat], all from Baie Ste-Anne; four sons: Stanley [Anita], Ronald [Adeline], Paul [Linda], all from Baie Ste-Anne, Francis [Lyla], from Orangeville, Ont.; 39 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grand daughter; one sister, Yvonne McINTYRE, resident of Mount St-Joseph. <br /> She was also predeceased by one daughter, Saidie; three sisters, Imelda LLOYD, Phoebe McINTYRE, Barbara SCHOFIELD; and a brother, Rene THEBEAULT. <br /> The family received condolences at the Baie Ste-Anne slumber room on Monday, November 8th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, from 9 a.m. until time of departure. The funeral mass was celebrated at the Baie Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church at 11a.m with Fr. J.B. Mallais, celebrant, and con-celebrant, Fr. Fidele LeBlanc. <br /> Active pallbearers were: Arnold SAVOIE, Rene MANUEL, Rene DUPLESSIS, Denis SCHOFIELD, Marc McINTYRE and Micheal DUPLESSIS. Honorary pallbearers were: Georgina SHULTZ, Leona MARTIN, Marielle MARTIN, Angela MEUSE, Heather KELLY, Leoda MANUEL, Elise MANUEL. <br /> The Baie Ste Anne Fire Department formed a guard of honor.
