The death of Adam DRISCOLL, 89, of 416 Beaverbrook Rd., Newcastle, N.B., occurred Monday evening, Oct. 21, 1996 at Region No. 7 Hospital [Newcastle Facility] after a brief illness. Born in Neguac, he was the son of the late Lamond and Nancy (SAVOIE) DRISCOLL. He was a sawyer, and attended St. Marys Roman Catholic Church.<br /> <br /> He is survived by one son, Arthur (Nicole), of Newcastle; one daughter, Juliette, of Newcastle.<br /> He was predeceased by his wife, Mary (LeBLANC) DRISCOLL, in 1982. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family.<br /> <br /> The remains rested at Davidson's Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, with Father Douglas McNeill officiating.<br /> <br /> Active pallbearers were: Bill NORTON, Blaine WALSH, Yvon BUTLER, Albert BASQUE, Ralph SMITH, and Ronald DOIRON.<br /> <br /> Burial followed in the church cemetery. Davidson's Funeral Service Ltd. was in care of arrangements.<br /> <br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - October 29, 1996
