Word was received here Monday of the death in New York of Senator Samuel ADAMS, who was born at Douglastown, NB, about 75 years ago. He was for many years head of the firm of Adams and Burns, Bathurst, NB, carrying on a large lumber business. He was also senior member of the Adams Dry Goods Co. of New York.<br /> <br /> He was a brother of the late Senator Michael ADAMS, of Newcastle, and is survived by three sons, Thomas, Hubert and Clarence, of New York; and two sisters, Mrs. J.D. CREAGHAN, of Newcastle, and Mrs. John J. FLANAGAN, of New York.<br /> <br /> Source: North Shore Leader - June 14, 1978 (50 yrs ago-1928)
