Harold ADAIR, 48, of Chapel Island Road, died suddenly Tuesday evening enroute to hospital after suffering a heart seizure.
He is survived by his wife, the former Theresa GALLIAH, of Newcastle; three sons and three daughters.
The remains are resting at Bells Funeral Home but no funeral arrangements were available at press time.

The death of Harold James ADAIR, of Chaplin Island Road, occurred suddenly Tuesday, March 13th. Born in Newcastle 48 years ago, he was a son of the late Robert James ADAIR and Janie E. (KELLY) ADAIR McKAY. He was employed as foreman with Miramichi Timber Resources Limited for 18 years, and was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the Seventh Anti-tank Regiment. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Newcastle Branch No. 10.
He is survived by his wife, the former Theresa GALLIAH of Newcastle; three sons, Robert, John and Harold, all at home; three daughters, Theresa of Ottawa, Mrs. James BLACKMORE (Margaret) of Saint John and Mrs. Wayne McCALLUM (Frances) of Newcastle; three brothers, William of Newcastle, John and Sterling, both of Windsor, Ontario; two half-brothers, James McKAY of Vancouver and Frederick McKAY of Windsor, Ontario; a half-sister, Miss Frances McKAY of Vancouver; and by three grandchildren.
The body rested at Bell’s Funeral Home, Newcastle. The funeral Mass was celebrated Friday morning, March 16th at St. Mary’s Church, Newcastle by Rev. D. J. Warner. Miss Mary Butler was organist.
Active pallbearers were: Edward TAYLOR, Donald GALLEY, Harry McCRAY, Leo THIBODEAU, James MAHER and Richard COPP.
The body was placed in the vault to await burial in the spring.
