The death of Mrs. Osithanne DESPRES, widow of Henry DESPRES, of Baie Ste. Anne, occurred Tuesday, December 5 at St. Josephs Hospital in Saint John. Born in Baie Ste. Anne 80 years ago, she was the daughter of the late Placide and Venerade [SAVOIE] DURELLE. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.<br /> She is survived by five sons: Israel, Arcide, Francis, and Alonzo, all of Baie Ste. Anne, and Joseph, of Bathurst; three daughters: Mrs. Roger THIBEAU [Laurie], Mrs. Joseph MANUEL [Annette], both of Baie Ste. Anne, and Mrs. Leonard ROBICHAUD [Rae], of Saint John. <br /> The body rested at the slumber room at Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church from where the funeral mass was celebrated on Friday, December 8. The body was placed in the receiving vault of the church cemetery to await interment in the spring.<br /> Source: North Shore Leader - December 14, 1972
