M. Florella CASEY, age 82, of 328 Edward Street, Miramichi, NB, passed away early Friday morning, July 25, 1997 at Miramichi Region 7 Hospital. Born in Belledune, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (WILSON) DORAN. Mrs. CASEY was a homemaker, and attended St. James and St. John’s United Church, Miramichi, and was a member of UCW.<br /> <br /> She is survived by one daughter, Eileen CORMACK (Al) of Winnipeg, MB; two sons, Lionel (Marjorie) of Ottawa, ON and Neville (Mary Lou) of Miramichi; two sisters, Francine RICHARDSON (Ritchie) of Miramichi, and Evelyn WARK of Halifax, NS; three brothers, Harold DORAN of Miramichi, Leo DORAN of Durham Bridge, NB and Robert DORAN of Sault Ste. Marie, ON; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.<br /> <br /> There was no visitation. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 29th, from Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel, 597 Old King George Hwy. at 2 pm, with Rev. Bev Brazier officiating. Organist was Mrs. Lois McKinnon. Soloist, Borden B. Davidson, rendered: Life’s Railway To Heaven. Choir anthem: Church In The Wildwood; congregational hymn: Will Your Anchor Hold.<br /> <br /> Burial followed in the Miramichi Cemetery. Davidson’s Funeral Service Ltd.
