The death of Euclide ALLAIN of Douglastown occurred August 18th, at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal following a lengthy illness. Born in Neguac on September 01, 1933 he was the son of the late Agapit and Sophie (SAVOIE) ALLAIN. He was employed by Heath Steele Mines.
Besides his wife, the former Jean ROLFE; he is survived by one son, Tony; three daughters, Diane, Karen and Kathryn, all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Herman MURPHY (Diana) of Chatham and Mrs. Fred ARSENAULT (Aurore) of Lewisville.
The funeral service was held from Davidson’s Funeral Home to St. Samuel’s Roman Catholic Church, Douglastown on Sunday, August 21st. The funeral mass was celebrated by Rev. T. J. McKendy. The church choir was in attendance under the direction of Nick Russell.
Pallbearers were: Royce SIMPSON, Louis ROBICHAUD, Yvon GODIN, Angus MANUEL, Roger ROBICHAUD and Herschell STEWART.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
