Michael was the son of Dolores Winnifred (DEREDIN) ADAMS McDERMAID and Harold Edwin ADAMS and was born on January 02, 1955, in Pembroke, Ontario. Michael was known for his unfiltered honesty and great sense of humour, with a laugh that could light up any room. He had an impressive knowledge of pop culture and was a dedicated fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. A true music lover, Michael had a particular fondness for The Beatles. Their timeless tunes provided the soundtrack to many memorable moments in his life right up until his last breath.

He loved sharing stories with them and was always ready with a playful tease or a funny anecdote. He leaves behind his sons, who will carry forward the lessons learned, and the love shared. Michael adored his wife, Sandra. Their 45 years together were filled with the ups and downs of life, but more importantly, it was filled with love and laughter. Their bond was evident to everyone around them. Michael will be remembered for his honesty, humour, and capacity to love and his spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
Michael is survived by his much-loved wife, Sandra; and his beloved sons, Shawn LANCE (Jennifer) of Tottenham, Ontario, Matthew ADAMS (Kathryn) of Truro, NS, and Tyler ADAMS of Fredericton, NB; his grandchildren who were his world: Lucas, Meadow, Jaylynn, Vanessa, Vera, and the newest member of the Adams' clan, baby Michael. He is also survived by his sister, Debi (ADAMS) STARK (Ed) of Winnipeg, Manitoba; his two brothers, Wayne ADAMS (Midge) of Ajax, Ontario, and Richard Lee ADAMS (Leslie) of Napanee, Ontario; and his uncle, Louis GALLIAH (Paula) of Miramichi, NB; and his many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews who will remember him fondly.
Michael was predeceased by his parents, Dolores (DEREDIN) ADAMS McDERMAID and Edwin ADAMS; his step-father, William McDERMAID; his brother, Harold ADAMS; his two aunts, Mary (DEREDIN) MARTIN and Catherine (DEREDIN) TREVORS; and his two uncles, Raymond DEREDIN and Wilbur DEREDIN.
