The death of Yvonne [Bonnie] Margaret [MATCHETT] DALTON, wife of the late James DALTON, of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Friday, July 13, 2007 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 86. Born in Sevogle, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary [WEDDEN] MATCHETT. Bonnie was a homemaker who attended St. Marys Roman Catholic Church. <br /> Bonnie is survived by two sons: James Jr. [Joan], of Wainwright, AB, Greg [Peggy], of Miramichi, NB; four daughters: Carol Anne DINAN [Billy], of Moncton, NB, Paula STEWART [Glen], of Miramichi, NB, Corinne SILLIKER [Gary], of Mahone Bay, NS, Kathy PHIPPS, of Smithers, BC; one brother, Edward [Lois], of Miramichi, NB; 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. <br /> Besides her husband, James, Bonnie is predeceased by several brothers and sisters.<br /> The family received visitors at Bells Funeral Home, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian was celebrated from St. Marys Roman Catholic Church on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 11 AM with Tom Fowler officiating. Organist, Mary Butler, was accompanied by the Cecilian Singers and Senior Choir. Hymns: City of God, Prayer of St. Francis, Yahweh I Know You Are Near and Blest are They. Readers: Kari DINAN [granddaughter] and Jim DALTON Jr. [son]. <br /> Active pallbearers: [grandsons] Jonathan DALTON, Jodi DINAN, Justin DINAN; [granddaughter] Rossi NASH; [sons-in-law]: Gary SILLIKER and Billy DINAN. <br /> C.N.D. Associates and past member of the CWL attended in a group and formed an honor guard. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
