Miss Mary Elizabeth (Bessie) YOUNG of 485 King George Highway died Tuesday afternoon, August 19, 1975 at the Miramichi Hospital after a long illness. She was 84 years of age. She was employed at the local Post Office for many years before her retirement. Born in Whitney, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (DUNN) YOUNG.<br /> <br /> Surviving is one brother, Barry YOUNG of Chatham.<br /> <br /> The body rested at Davidson’s Funeral Home. Funeral service was held Friday, August 22nd from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church with Requiem Mass at 10 am, and interment in the adjoining cemetery.<br /> <br /> Source: North Shore Leader - August 27, 1975
