It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glen at his home on January 23, 2021 after a brief illness. Glen was born on July 02, 1943, the only son of John (Jack) YOUNG of Barnaby River and Mary HAY of Chatham. <br /> <br /> Glen is survived by his loving wife, Linda of 57 years; his son, John YOUNG of Dalhousie (Tricia); daughter, Kellie TOOGOOD of Moncton (Rob); four grandsons he was so proud of: Spencer, AJ, Kyle and Zack; his sister, Loretta HAMILTON (Danny); along with several nieces and nephews. <br /> <br /> In Glen’s younger days he loved rebuilding and racing stock cars. That love of racing lead to extensive travelling to watch NASCAR races in the USA with Linda. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, including his time camping, downhill skiing and golfing. He also loved cheering on his favourite hockey team, the Boston Bruins. <br /> <br /> In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
