Mrs. Hilda THERIAULT, of Baie Ste. Anne, widow of Dominic THERIAULT, died Sunday, August 27, 1989 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham, after a lengthy illness. Born in the Magdalen Islands 92 years ago, she was a daughter of the late Placide and Victoire (CHIASSON) CYR. <br /> <br /> She is survived by four sons: Alderic and Jean-Paul, both of Baie Ste. Anne, Lomar, of Windsor, ON and Placide, of Montreal; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyne McINTYRE, Mrs. Aubin POIRIER (Yvonne) and Mrs. Rheal POIRIER (Noella), all of Baie Ste. Anne; 38 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. <br /> <br /> Source: Local Newspaper Clipping<br /> **************************************** <br /> FUNERAL - <br /> <br /> Funeral mass for Mrs. Hilda THERIAULT, of Baie Ste. Anne, was celebrated Wednesday, August 30 at Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Alphonse Richard officiating assisted by Rev. D. Melanson. <br /> <br /> Honorary pallbearers were: Aurlin POIRIER, Rheal POIRIER, Aurel CHIASSON, Placide CHIASSON, Camille CHIASSON, Raymond TURBIDE, Archie SCHOFIELD, Lawrence McINTYRE, Isaac THERIAULT, Arthur MARTIN and Gerard CYR. The active pallbearers were: Eric THERIAULT, Richard THERIAULT, Serge THERIAULT, Charles McINTYRE, Ronald POIRIER and Colin POIRIER.<br /> <br /> Arrangements were in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Chatham.<br /> <br /> Source: Northumberland News - September 06, 1989
