Madonna DAIGLE, 84, of Baie Sainte-Anne, wife of Eric DAIGLE, died peacefully at Miramichi Regional Hospital, Thursday, March 10, 2005 surrounded by her children. Born in Baie Sainte-Anne, she was the daughter of the late Andre and Barbara [CHAISSON] MANUEL.<br /> Survived by her husband of 63 years; three sons: Emilien [Claudia], of Baie Ste Anne, Paul-Eric [Brigitte] and Mario [Brenda], both from Miramichi; 5 daughters; Rosemonde [Marc] DOUCET, Seraphie [Elvery] MARTIN, of Baie Ste Anne, Adrienne [Marcel] PELLETIER, of Edmunston, Catherine [Aube] MANUEL, of Moncton, and Audrey [Ronald] DAIGLE, of Saint John; daughter-in-law, Joyce DAIGLE; 4 brothers: Clement [Rita], of Plaster Rock, Anthime [Viola], Albert [Leola], Elias [Dolorese], all of Baie Ste Anne; six sisters: Dorina [Alderic] HACHEY, Prescilla [John], both from Fredericton, Genevieve TURBIDE, of Baie Ste Anne, Meldred [Omer] COMEAU, of Gardiner, Mass, USA, Vitaline [Lucien] HACHEY, of Nelson, Jacqueline [Emilien] LIRETTE, of Caraquet; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. <br /> Predeceased by a son, Gonzague; daughter, Adrienne; daughter-in-law, Lesley; two sisters, Dora and Eliza. <br /> Visitation from the Baie Ste Anne Slumberoom on Saturday and Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial held on Monday at 11 am from St. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste Anne. Interment in the Church Cemetery in the spring. Donations to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements are under the care of Mahers Funeral Home Miramichi, NB. Robert Savoie officiating.<br /> Active pallbearers were: Pierre DAIGLE, Andre MANUEL, Marc-Andre PELLETIER, Donald DAIGLE, Christopher HENNEBURY and Michel DAIGLE. Honorary pallbearers were: Rodrique DAIGLE, Yvon MANUEL, Joël MANUEL, Ligouri TURBIDE, Mario MANUEL, Dwight BLIZZARD, Gilles DAIGLE and Patrice DAIGLE.<br /> Interment will be in the church cemetery in the spring. Donations to Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements were under the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Miramichi, NB.
