In loving memory of Olin Peter ADAMS whose soul found peace on March 14th at Percy’s Place. <br /> <br /> He leaves his two beloved sons, MacKenzie ADAMS and Zachary (Hannah) ADAMS. Olin joined his cherished wife Betty ADAMS, his parents Olin ADAMS and Dorothy ADAMS (THOMPSON); and his nephew, Jason McINTYRE in the next life. <br /> <br /> He is survived by his sisters: Frances SAVARD (Joseph), Marylou ARSENAULT (Wilfred), Debbie McINTYRE (Thomas), Juanita WILLISTON (Blair), and Lisa ROBERTSON (Steve); and his many nieces, nephews, neighbours, and friends.<br /> <br /> Olin was born December 20, 1960, the only son among six children, and grew up in Chatham. Though he worked many jobs in the course of his life, he spent most time as a long-haul truck driver - a community where he was a treasured friend. Just like the many rustic pieces of furniture he built, Olin bore up and supported his friends and family with boundless love. And, just like the many goodies he baked, Olin sustained all who were close to him - often with a mischievous sense of humour, and immense generosity.<br /> <br /> The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Highway, Miramichi on Monday, March 18, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joachim’s Roman Catholic Church, Church Road, Eel Ground First Nation on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 11 am, with Father Cornelius officiating.<br /> <br /> In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Percy’s Place or the SPCA. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Jardine Funeral Home and Miramichi Crematorium, 597 Old King George Highway, Miramichi, NB.
