Hawley Marven SAVOIE, of Hardwicke, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, at the age of 48. Born in Newcastle, he was the son of Irene (LLOYD) SAVOIE and the late Elmo SAVOIE. He was a lobster fisherman and loved the trade. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing bingo, and attending his daughters various events.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Nathalie (McINTYRE) SAVOIE of Baie-Sainte-Anne; daughters, Mackenzie BRENNAN-SAVOIE (Sam HACHE) of Miramichi, Megan SAVOIE and Reeva SAVOIE, both of Baie-Sainte-Anne/Hardwicke; mother, Irene SAVOIE of Moncton; sister, Deanna SAVOIE (Tim McEWEN) of Moncton; his aunt, Millie LLOYD HANDCOCK; his uncles: Neri SAVOIE, Leonard LLOYD, Marvin LLOYD, and Wayne LLOYD; and nephew and niece ,Alex and Alyssa.
Visitation will be held at Salon Soeur Blandine Martin Slumber Room (Sainte Anne Roman Catholic Church), on Thursday, February 01, 2024, from 2 to 4 pm & 6 to 8 pm, and on Friday, February 02, 2024, from 1 to 2 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 02, 2024, at 2 pm, at Sainte Anne Roman Catholic Church, with Father David Rioux officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or to the Miramichi SPCA.
