Yolande H. (VALDRON) MONGEON, age 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 25, 2021, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton. Born in Arvida, QC and raised in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Herman VALDRON and the late Germaine FRENETTE. Prior to her retirement, Yolande worked at DSS in Shediac. She graduated from Harkins High, she had a varied career, a flight attendant with Eastern Airlines, with the MS Society as a fund-raising coordinator, an Avon manager in Southeast, NB and owner / operator of a special care home. She also had many hobbies, member of the Moncton and Riverview Art Society, enjoyed camping, board games, nature hikes and painting (oil and acrylics).
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Monique (Andrew) HUSSEY; her grandchildren, Ryan and Kayla HUSSEY; her BFF, Pat BONNELL; her sister, Claudette (Daniel) PERREAULT; her nieces: Donna, Debbie, Diane and Nicole; and her nephews, Joey and Rick.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Delma VALDRON; and her brother, Armand (Dorothy) VALDRON.
In respect to Yolande's wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
