The death of Victor DURELLE, of Baie Ste. Anne, occurred at his home on Tuesday, November 18th. Born in Baie Ste. Anne, 78 years ago, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (MUZZEROLLE) DURELLE.<br /> <br /> His wife, the former Julie DUPLESSIS, survives along with nine sons: Raymond of Baie Ste. Anne, Albert of Neguac, Claude of CFB Trenton, Leonard of CFB Winnipeg, Aurele of Montreal, Julien of Cornwallis, NS, John of Baie Ste. Anne, Victor of Toronto and Marc of Saint John; six daughters: Mrs. Ken McKAY (Lydia) of Ottawa, Mrs. J. M. PERREAULT (Dora) of Montreal, Mrs. Adrien GIONET (Geraldine) of Caraquet, Mrs. Placide VAUTOUR (Victorine) of Kouchibouguac, Mrs. Adelard LeGRESLEY (Marie) of Neguac, and Mrs. Burton MAHONEY (Esther) of Germany, 42 grandchildren also survive.<br /> <br /> The funeral was held Thursday, November 20th, to Baie Ste. Anne Church. Requiem Mass was celebrated by Rev. Paul Arsenault with Rev. Father Arsenault assisting.<br /> <br /> Honorary pallbearers were: Wright GIBBS, Hector DUPLESSIE, George DUPLESSIE, Norman TIBAULT, Stan ROBICHAUD and Anathese DURELLE. Active pallbearers were: Kenneth McKAY, Placid VAUTOUR, Jean M. PERREAULT, Jilles DURELLE, Adrien GIONET and Adelard LeGRESLEY.<br /> <br /> Interment was in the church cemetery.<br /> <br /> Source: North Shore Leader - December 04, 1969
