The death of Hilda Marguerite [WHITE] APPLEBY, wife of Hood J. APPLEBY, of 263 Winnipeg Cres., Miramichi, NB, formerly of Napadogan, occurred on Saturday, October 6, 2001, at Miramichi Regional Hospital, Miramichi, NB. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth [CLARKSON] WHITE. Mrs. APPLEBY and was a member of St. Thomas Anglican Church, Stanley, NB. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and the Royal Canadian Legion.<br /> Besides her husband, she is survived by 2 sons: Gary [Devota] APPLEBY, of Miramichi, NB, Dennis [Annie] APPLEBY, of Sept Iles, PQ; a brother, Robert [Gwen] WHITE, of Napadogan, NB; one sister, Reta MUNN, of Fredericton, NB; five grandchildren: Kim, Lisa, Christine [Richard], David [Alex], and Melissa; one great-grandson, Nicolas; two sisters-in-law: Mary WHITE and Katherine SULLIVAN; two brothers-in-law: Donald [Lorena] APPLEBY, and Elmer FUDGE; and several nieces and nephews.<br /> Mrs. APPLEBY was predeceased by three brothers: Roy, Gilbert, and Ellis; and one sister, June.<br /> Visitation at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr., Fredericton, NB, on Monday. Funeral Service held on Tuesday, at 2 pm, from St. Thomas Anglican Church, Stanley, NB, with Rev. Randall Ingalls officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.<br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - October 16, 2001
