Alden Bido McINTYRE, loving husband for 57 years to Alma (SAVOY) McINTYRE, of Chatham Head, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 05, 2017 at the age of 82. Born in Baie St. Anne, NB, Bido was the son of the late Elmer and Lima (MARTIN) McINTYRE. Bido was a past council member of Chatham Head Old Timers Baseball Association.<br /> <br /> Besides his wife: Alma; Bido is survived by one sister, Marceline RICHARD of Baie St. Anne, NB; one brother, Donald of Baie St. Anne, NB; special nieces, Jennifer COMEAU, Jocelyn NAPKE and Jaida COMEAU; special nephew, Cayden COMEAU; and also with other nieces and nephews.<br /> <br /> Bido is predeceased by his chosen sister, Alma LeBELLE.<br /> <br /> Visitation was held at Bell's Funeral Home Miramichi, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated from the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Chatham Head on Saturday, April 08, 2017 at 11 am with Father Paul LeBlanc officiating. Music was by organist/soloist, Jacqueline Allain. Readers were Harriet Dooks and Stephanie Manuel, with the Eulogy also given by Stephanie. <br /> <br /> Active pallbearers: Jimmy SAVOY, Blake COMEAU, Quinton O’DONNELL, Johnny VICKERY, Terry VICKERY, Sterling FERGUSON and Scottie SAUNDERS. Honorary pallbearers: Junior and Gertie SAVOY, Ricky and Brenda SAVOY, Joseph and Isabelle DAIGLE and Nin and Joseph LANDRY. <br /> <br /> Burial will take place in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring. Funeral arrangements were under the care of Bell's Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB.<br /> <br /> Source: Telegraph Journal obituaries on-line
